CAMeRA fellow Gratch at IVA 2009


The International Conference on Intelligent Virtual Agents ( was held in NEMO between 14-16 Septembers. This year’s special topic was games.

The meeting presented research on computer techniques for simulating people in virtual environments, including how to model human-like social intelligence, how to generate speech, gestures and emotions, and how these behaviours impact human users. 

Jonathan Gratch, one of CAMeRA’s fellows, presented papers on
